THE INVITATION OF A LIFETIME!
Ares has been officially invited to participate in the prestigious La Liga Academy Select Showcase. This exclusive opportunity will take him to Madrid, Spain, where he will train at the legendary Real Madrid City—a world-class multi-sports complex in Valdebebas. Here, Ares will practice at the same facilities used by Real Madrid’s academy players and first team.
Additionally, Ares will also train at the Official Atlético de Madrid Headquarters in Alcalá de Henares with Atlético de Madrid coaches. Ares will participate in scrimmages with the La Liga Academy Team and attend live La Liga games, immersing himself in the pinnacle of European soccer.
With only 1% of US players receiving an invitation, Ares is completely humbled and intends on representing God, his family, and his club to the best of his abilities!

Ares is a straight-A honor and AP student at Wayzata High School, Ares balances academic excellence with his athletic pursuits as an academy-level soccer player. Despite facing immense challenges, including a double fracture of his 5th lumbar vertebra and a fractured right leg, Ares has demonstrated remarkable perseverance. His recovery was nothing short of miraculous—he came back stronger than ever, scoring an astounding 21 goals in his high school season.
Every athlete understands the allure of chasing their dreams and pushing themselves to their physical limits. Pursuing athletic excellence demands immense dedication, unwavering commitment, and the ability to push through physical and mental barriers. However, within this passionate pursuit lies a thin line that separates the realization of athletic dreams from a devastating injury that can alter one’s trajectory in life. As athletes, we must respect every moment of our journey and train as if it were our last day, acknowledging the delicate balance between ambition and fate.
